Avon Lake Roof Replacement: Tear-Off & Re-Deck Project

The Problem

Upon arriving at the Avon Lake property, our team conducted a comprehensive rooftop inspection. The existing roof was nearing the end of its lifespan, and the signs of failure were evident. Our post shingle-tear-off inspection revealed that the original roof decking was not spaced appropriately, and had suffered from years of poor ventilation. The support the existing roof deck provided was lacking. This structural compromise meant that simply installing new shingles would be a "band-aid" fix that would fail within a few years. If left unaddressed, these soft spots could lead to interior leaks, mold growth, and eventually, shingles being lifted by wind. The homeowners needed a comprehensive roof replacement that involved even some wood work.

Our Solution

The Process

The project began early on a Friday morning. Our crew set up our professional equipment in preparation for the roof replacement.
